About
the Founder
Mr Meurer's
work experience began in 1980 primarily in the general construction
and roofing industry's, by 1985 he joined the EMS services as a certified
Fire Fighter EMT, on his days off continued to work
in the property maintenanace and management field and by 1987 started a firm in the fire and
flood restoration business. Working closely with the insurance
industry Mr Meurer took notice of the roof aspect playing a big part
in that businesses success. In 1992 the public was devastated
by the inadequacies of the standard roofing systems here
in Florida. Development of a new and better roof coating process was at best
part time over the next several years, making a few adjustments along the way.
While still refining the idea he eventually took the basic
system to the Ft Lauderdale Home Show in 1994, it did well
enough to allow Mr Meurer to expand his restoration service company in 1995
to accommodate the waterproof roof sealant products need in the market place.In 2004
two major hurricanes jit our area again, Wilma and Katrina passed write over
Broward Countys roofs and he then had the undeniable proof that the product
really works.To protect the design interests beyond common law Mr Meurer
filed for the official trademark in 2006.
The Roof Shield System
was tested by Dade County's Tas-106 Uplift Exam in 2007 and
to date is the only tile roof coating system tested by Dade County on a
exiting old roof tile system treated with a specialized coating.
The tests were completed and we received our completed mark in

It is in our opinion the strength of new roof
construction at its first line of defense is inadequate at
the exterior tiles, A new cement tile roof is simply not worth
it, unless an inordinate amount of rotten wood is found during
an inspection (there are many ways to verify those sections
or suspect spots in your roof whether there is room to look
in the attic or not). We understand that upgrading is important
and sometimes warranted with respect to the challenging realist
ate demographics,
nevertheless if you have a new roof you would still
want to seriously consider adding our system to it.

into law, as part of the new deal, now it’s to few insurance

There is no premium relief deduction for new,
old or any roof type, just a lowered deductible. In the
event of a claim they can raise your rate and drop you.
If you’re not already with certain insurers by now you’re
